You'll be joining a team powered by Takealot Group's core values. \nThis position reports to the :Hub Manager \nYour responsibilities can include:\nResponsible for the supervision of the fleet and all other secondary roles which flow from this function.\nEnsures the on-time delivery of product to/from the distribution center. \nEnsure that fleet is adequate for operations and fully maintained\nEnsure effective maintenance of fleet and manage schedules vehicle services\nEnsure consistent application of company policies and procedures\nMust continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of the work area and maintain all company standards.\nMaintain daily meetings with staff. Meetings are focused on KPI management and other operational feedback for MR and Last mile deliveries\nWorks closely with management to identify and resolve all issues and ensure quality service to our customers\nEnsures all drivers follow company procedures and apply discipline when and if necessary.\nPerform all other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager\nIt is required of you to work until your daily responsibilities are completed, which might result in you working longer than normally.\nEnsure Drivers are available for last mile deliveries daily, by working closely with the labour brokers with driver and assistant requirements.\nCompete accident and incident reports timeously and submit to respective parties\nEnsure that fleet costs are clearly recorded and reported to Branch Manager\nManage daily staff and overtime efficiently to ensure labor cost is controlled\nExtracts data and generates reports which will assist in performance tracking and decision making.\nEnsures all CODs are cashed up and reconciled daily.\nAll administrative documentation is labelled and filed as per procedures.\nAll daily, weekly and monthly reports/ meeting minutes are up to date \nKPI reports sent out timeously daily and are posted on notice boards\nTrains and supervise Driver Admins and Drivers to carry out the functions under their control.\nUploads all new drivers for verifications.\nOversees and arranges staff transport.\nEnsure that all staff are at work and attendance is 100%.
