You'll be joining a team powered by Takealot Group's core values. \nThis position reports to the :Operations Manager\nYour responsibilities can include:\nEnsure all fleet vehicles are regularly inspected, maintained, and compliant with national road safety standards and regulations \nEnforce a comprehensive vehicle inspection program, covering pre-trip and post-trip inspections\nOversee the day-to-day management of the fleet, including vehicle allocation, tracking, and maintenance schedules\nTrack and manage vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service records to ensure minimal downtime and optimal vehicle performance\nEnsure consistent application of company policies and procedures\ntraining, monitoring, and performance evaluation to enhance driver safety and efficiency.\nIt is required of you to work until your daily responsibilities are completed, which might result in you working longer than normally\nCapturing of delivery teams hours and ensure accruals are sent on to management\nContribute to cost-saving initiatives by optimizing fleet operations, including fuel management, route planning, and vehicle utilization \nManage daily staff and overtime efficiently to ensure labour cost is controlled\nExtracts data and generates reports which will assist in performance tracking and decision making.\nAll administrative documentation is labelled and filed as per procedures.\nAll daily, weekly and monthly reports/ meeting minutes are up to date \nKPI reports sent out timeously daily and are posted on notice boards\nEnsure 5S housekeeping standards are implemented and maintained\nImplement and maintain health and safety standards\nEnsure the team complies to COVID19 protocols\nQualifications and experience:\nMinimum of Grade 12\nTertiary qualification preferred\nAttributes required :\nStrong leadership capabilities\nEffective decision making \nProblem Solving abilities\nGood communication skill\nAttributes Required:\nWhy Join TFS:\nPurpose-driven impact: Transform lives through logistics innovation\nAdvanced technology: Work with cutting-edge systems in a fast-paced environment\nCareer growth: Thrive in an agile space that champions continuous improvement\nInclusive culture: Your unique perspective drives extraordinary results\nAt TFS, your growth is our growth.
