I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.\nJob Description\nEMEA (Senior) Payroll Specialist\nThe Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting outsourced payroll operations across Europe, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery through external payroll providers. This role serves as a key liaison across vendors and internal stakeholders, coordinates payroll inputs and controls, and contributes to process improvement through standardization, automation, and the use of Takeda-enabled AI and automation tools.\nINSPIRED BY PATIENTS, POWERED BY YOU.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPayroll Operations & Compliance\nCoordinate end-to-end payroll activities through external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local requirements.\nValidate payroll inputs, including earnings, deductions, tax components, statutory contributions, and employee data changes.\nReview, update, and validate payroll data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.\nManage and coordinate monthly payroll runs, including one-time payments, corrections, adjustments, and other off-cycle transactions.\nEnsure equity-related transactions are processed accurately and within payroll deadlines.\nPerform payroll and tax reconciliations, maintain effective payroll controls, and support required reporting activities.\nReview and manage payroll corrections identified before and between payroll cycles.\nMonitor regulatory changes and coordinate timely implementation of required updates.\nSupport year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting requirements.\nKey Skills, Abilities, and Competencies\nTechnical & Functional Skills:\nTech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use payroll systems, digital tools, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.\n3-5 years of payroll experience, ideally supporting European payroll operations.\nStrong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, tax processes, and statutory compliance.\nExperience with ADP Global View, Workday, ServiceNow or similar platforms\nExperience with Time & Attendance systems such as WFS, WFM, Kronos, or similar platforms is an advantage.\nExperience working within an outsourced payroll model and managing external vendors is preferred.\nAbility to communicate in German or French\nFluency in English\nWe don’t do ordinary - at Takeda we unite in diversity!
