Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse team.\nAbout the role:\nWe are looking for a hand on Technology Architect who can shape enterprise application architecture and lead delivery at scale.\nThis role requires deep AWS expertise and strong hands-on experience designing highly available, resilient, and observable systems.\nThe ideal candidate also understands AI-driven application development lifecycle practices and can guide multiple globally distributed teams to deliver complex, cross-functional programs.\nHow you will contribute:\nLead end-to-end engineering delivery for complex modernization initiatives, from architecture and implementation roadmap through production readiness.\nDesign scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS, microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and modern integration patterns.\nEstablish and implement modern engineering standards and best practices across DevSecOps, automation, security, testing, observability, performance, and quality engineering.\nEmbed SRE and reliability-by-design practices covering availability, resilience, performance, capacity, observability, and service-level objectives.\nEstablish and measure Product Health across reliability, performance, security, technology lifecycle, capacity, incidents, and operational risks.\nProvide technical leadership during major production incidents, driving diagnosis, recovery, root-cause analysis, and corrective engineering actions.\nConvert Product Health trends, incidents, technical debt, and reliability risks into prioritized engineering improvements and backlog.\nDrive AI-assisted engineering across design, development, testing, automation, observability, troubleshooting, and engineering productivity.\nWhat you bring to Takeda:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n12+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, cloud-native applications, and large-scale technology modernization initiatives.\nDeep expertise designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native solutions on AWS, including high availability, resilience, disaster recovery, and observability practices.\nHands-on experience architecting and implementing distributed, microservices-based applications in enterprise environments.\nStrong knowledge of site reliability engineering principles, including service level objectives, incident management, operational readiness, and reliability improvement practices.\nExperience applying domain-driven design principles, bounded contexts, and domain-centric service decomposition to complex application landscapes.\nProven ability to provide technical leadership and guide globally distributed engineering teams through architecture decisions, delivery execution, and modernization programs.\nSolid software engineering background with experience in modern application development and cloud-native architecture patterns.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAWS Solutions Architect -
