I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.\nJob Description\nAs Global Lead Maintenance & Reliability Plasma, you will play a key leadership role in driving engineering excellence across our manufacturing operations.\nYou will provide strategic direction and oversight to engineering teams, ensuring that manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, reliability, efficiency, and performance.\nWorking closely with cross-functional leaders, you will translate business objectives into long-term engineering strategies, oversee complex projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and sustainable business performance.\nHow You Will Contribute\nProvide strategic leadership to multiple engineering teams and managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.\nDevelop and implement long-term manufacturing engineering strategies aligned with Takeda's business objectives and operational priorities.\nOversee the design, construction, testing, operation, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and engineering systems.\nLead complex engineering projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, quality requirements, and safety standards.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability, productivity, and operational performance.\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, quality standards, and environmental, health, and safety policies.\nManage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and investment planning to support strategic and operational objectives.\nPartner with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical expertise, strategic guidance, and effective communication on engineering priorities.\nDevelop engineering capabilities through talent development, performance management, and the implementation of effective policies, maintenance strategies, and best practices.\nWhat You Bring to Takeda\nExtensive experience in manufacturing engineering, engineering operations, or related technical leadership roles, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another highly regulated industry.\nProven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and multidisciplinary teams within a complex, matrixed organization.\nStrong strategic planning capabilities, translating business priorities into actionable engineering strategies and operational plans.\nDemonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects, including budget oversight, resource planning, and timely execution.\nSolid technical understanding of manufacturing equipment, engineering systems, maintenance strategies, and equipment reliability.\nStrong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and environmental, health, and safety standards.\nExperience driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and process optimization to enhance manufacturing performance.\nSound financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, investment prioritization, and resource optimization.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, combined with a collaborative leadership style and strong business judgment.\nLocations\nZurich, SwitzerlandBase Salary Range:\nCHF177,400.00 - CHF243,980.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
