I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.\nJob Description\nOBJECTIVES/PURPOSE\n· Provide advanced Architectural Engineering expertise supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and engineering activities across the project lifecycle.\n· Develop and review architectural concepts, facility layouts, cleanroom designs, and building solutions that support GMP, quality, regulatory, safety, sustainability, and business requirements.\n· Support the Head of CSA in maintaining technical excellence, standardization, and discipline performance.\n· Drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement through digital and data-driven engineering practices.\nAccountabilities\nArchitectural Expertise & Design Support\nProvide advanced technical expertise for architectural engineering and facility planning activities.\nSupport facility concepts, space planning, cleanroom enclosure strategies, and architectural design reviews.\nEnsure building layouts support operational efficiency, GMP requirements, personnel and material flows, and future flexibility.\nCoordinate interfaces with Process Engineering, Process Architecture, Laboratory Engineering, Facilities & Utilities, Automation Design, and Design Delivery teams.\nTechnical Leadership\nPerform technical reviews and quality checks of architectural deliverables.\nSupport technical decision-making and problem resolution.\nMentor and coach Architectural Engineers.\nSupport development and implementation of architectural standards, templates, and best practices.\nQuality, Compliance & Governance\nEnsure designs align with GMP requirements, Takeda standards, and applicable industry regulations.\nEnsure compliance with building codes, life safety requirements, cleanroom requirements, accessibility standards, and architectural best practices.\nParticipate in risk assessments, audits, governance activities, and lessons learned programs.\nSupport compliance and inspection readiness activities.\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement\nPromote sustainable building design, digital engineering, BIM, and data-driven decision making.\nIdentify opportunities to improve building performance, user experience, sustainability, flexibility, and engineering quality.\nSupport standardization and reuse of architectural solutions.\nContribute to development of standards, templates, and best practices.\nEDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline.\nMaster's Degree preferred.\nExperience\n7+ years of architectural engineering experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, laboratory, or regulated industries.\nExperience supporting GMP manufacturing facilities and laboratories.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary engineering organizations.\nExperience across Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, and Construction Support phases.\nBehavioural Competencies\nTechnical leadership and coaching.\nCollaboration and stakeholder management.\nAnalytical thinking and problem solving.\nContinuous improvement mindset.\nInnovation and sustainability mindset.\nStrong communication skills.\nTechnical Skills\nArchitectural Design and Facility Planning.\nGMP Facility Design.\nCleanroom Design and Architectural Enclosures.\nLaboratory Planning Interfaces.\nBuilding Codes and Life Safety Requirements.\nSustainable Building Design.\nBuilding Information Modelling (BIM).\nPharmaceutical Facility Design Standards.\nLocations\nIND -
