Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse team.\nOBJECTIVES/PURPOSE\nAbout the role:\nYou will bring 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems operations and core infrastructure services, and you will support daily operations and administration for information technology systems and infrastructure. Reporting to the digital manufaturing ERP lead, you will define and lead the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne version 9.2 platform strategy-including licensing, vendor governance, budget planning, patch management, software upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and regulatory compliance-to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 applications, their supporting infrastructure, and companion applications. You will also ensure overall uptime, performance, and resource availability of information technology systems, contributing to Takeda’s mission by maintaining a reliable and secure information technology environment.\nHow you will contribute:\nDefine and lead the JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 platform roadmap and governance, including licensing strategy, vendor relationships, and budget planning.\nDrive patch management, software upgrade planning and execution, and vulnerability remediation across the JDE environment and companion applications.\nDesign and maintain high availability and disaster recovery architectures for JDE 9.2, validating recovery plans and conducting readiness testing.\nOwn planning, design, and operation of virtual and physical servers, storage area network architecture, backup and recovery solutions, and related infrastructure that supports JDE and other enterprise applications.\nOversee application installations, upgrades, migrations, and platform configuration; monitor system health and performance and recommend improvements.\nManage inventory and lifecycle for infrastructure hardware and software resources that support JDE and its companion systems.\nCollaborate with business and technical partners to translate requirements into scalable, secure architecture and operational processes.\nEnsure data integrity and security by evaluating, implementing, and operating appropriate infrastructure and controls to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.\nThis role does not include direct people management; you will provide technical leadership and may lead project teams and manage external vendors\nSkills and qualifications:\nMust have:\nStrong background in server and storage architecture, including management of storage area networks, virtualization platforms, and backup and recovery technologies.\n Expertise in systems administration across Windows and UNIX operating environments and experience deploying and maintaining enterprise application platforms.\n Experience with patch management, change control, release management, and software upgrade processes for critical systems.\nHolds a JDE CNC implementation specialist certification or equivalent \nHas AWS Cloud Practitioner’ certification\nDemonstrated experience leading JD Edwards EnterpriseOne version 9.2 platform strategy, including licensing, vendor governance, budget planning, patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and regulatory compliance.\nShould have:\nProven experience designing and operating high availability and disaster recovery solutions for enterprise applications.\n Comfort using AI-enabled tools and automation to improve system reliability, monitoring, incident response, and documentation.\nStrong background in server and storage architecture, including management of storage area networks, virtualization platforms, and backup and recovery technologies.\nExpertise in systems administration across Windows and UNIX operating environments and experience deploying and maintaining enterprise application platforms.\nExperience with patch management, change control, release management, and software upgrade processes for critical systems.\nKnowledge of security and compliance controls relevant to enterprise application platforms and supporting infrastructure.\nTrack record of partnering with business teams and technical peers to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.\nLeadership experience mentoring technical staff and leading cross-functional projects.\nAbility to analyze complex operational issues and implement durable solutions.\nAs an expert professional within the organization, you develop innovative solutions to complex problems aligned with organizational objectives. Your work involves addressing intricate issues, requiring in-depth analysis and judgment. You also engage with key contacts outside your expertise area and contribute to the development of new concepts and standards. Operating with considerable autonomy, you serve as a consultant to management and an external spokesperson on major matters, often working independently and leading function teams or projects.
