Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse team\nAbout the role: \nAs a CDP Solution Architect within the Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP / Data 360) space for the Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, you will serve as the end-to-end technical owner and architectural authority for customer and donor data solutions.\nThis role combines deep technical expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud with strong enterprise integration, techno-functional leadership, and delivery ownership. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, compliant, and high-performing data architectures spanning data ingestion, identity resolution, data modeling, segmentation, and activation across Salesforce and non-Salesforce platforms.\nThis position directly enables PDT’s ability to leverage enterprise data assets, improve decision-making, enable personalization, and support regulatory and operational excellence. The role aligns with the External Experience chapter of the ICC and reports to the PDT Delivery Lead for strategic alignment and day-to-day leadership.\nHow you will contribute:\nArchitecture & Technical Leadership\nOwn the end-to-end CDP solution architecture, technical design, and implementation strategy.\nDefine and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and integration principles across CDP solutions.\nDesign scalable data ingestion and integration architectures supporting data from CRM systems, enterprise data platforms, third-party vendors, analytics systems, and external sources.\nArchitect identity resolution strategies, data models, segmentation frameworks, and activation patterns to support business use cases.\nEnterprise & Platform Integration\nArchitect and govern integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and external enterprise systems, including data warehouses/lakes, analytics platforms, vendor systems, APIs, middleware platforms, and cloud services.\nDesign and oversee API-driven, event-based, and batch integrations, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and data quality.\nProvide technical guidance for integrations regardless of platform (Salesforce or non-Salesforce).\nTechno-Functional & Delivery Leadership\nLead requirements discovery and translate business needs into solution designs, architecture artefacts, technical specifications, and user stories.\nProvide hands-on technical leadership to developers and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nAssess technical impacts of evolving requirements and perform architectural impact analysis and risk assessment.\nLead and oversee UAT strategy, defect triage, and go-live readiness.\nGovernance, Compliance & Operations\nEnsure compliance with GxP, data privacy, and regulatory standards, including validation and change control.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, integrations, configurations, and operational processes.\nOversee proactive monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA) for CDP environments.\nEnsure quality, performance, availability, and security across all CDP integrations and data flows.\nStakeholder, Vendor & Team Leadership\nAct as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders, leadership, and product teams.\nCollaborate with enterprise architects, developers, QA, validation teams, and external vendors.\nInfluence adoption and effective utilization of customer and donor experience solutions across PDT and Takeda.\nAccountabilities\nProduct Vision & Strategy\nDefine and evolve the technical product vision and roadmap for CDP aligned with PDT business goals.\nInfluence platform roadmaps and advocate for enterprise and business-specific architectural needs.\nBacklog & Roadmap Enablement\nSupport backlog prioritization, PI planning, and release planning from a technical governance perspective.\nValidate epics and user stories for architectural integrity and long-term scalability.\nContinuous Improvement & Innovation\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, automate, and standardize data and integration patterns.\nDrive innovation across customer and donor experience solutions using emerging technologies and platforms.\nTechnical & Functional Expertise\nDeep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP / Data 360) architecture and capabilities.\nStrong experience in enterprise data integration architectures, including APIs, middleware, event-driven and batch processing.\nStrong proficiency in data modeling, complex SQL, identity resolution, and calculated insights.\nExperience working across both Salesforce and non-Salesforce platforms.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, Agile / SAFe methodologies, UAT, and validation processes.\nHands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, Figma, and MS Office.\nLeadership, Decision-Making & Interaction\nStrategic mindset with the ability to align architecture decisions to business outcomes.\nAbility to make autonomous technical decisions in the best interest of Takeda.\nStrong influencing skills across a complex, global, multi-vendor ecosystem.\nExcellent innovative CDP roadmap across the Donor and Customer Experience ecosystem.\nMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field required.\n10+ years of experience in data platforms, solution architecture, or enterprise integration roles.\n2.5+ years of experience in Salesforce Data360/Data Cloud.\nStrong experience designing and implementing enterprise data and integration architectures.\nHands-on experience with identity resolution, segmentation, and activation use cases.\nStrong background in APIs, enterprise integrations, and data platforms.\nProven experience leading Agile delivery and UAT/validation activities.\nExperience in regulated or life sciences environments strongly preferred.\nDemonstrate ability to interpret and work with data (e.g., dashboards, reports, data quality concepts) and understanding of AI/ML fundamentals to adapt to emerging technology trends, identify opportunities for intelligent automation/insights within Salesforce, and make data-informed decisions.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.\nStrong communication skills with ability to articulate and optimize design based on the value to the user and the business, lead ideation sessions and workshops.\nPreferred requirements:\nSalesforce Data Cloud Accredited Professional certification.\nSalesforce Marketing Cloud certification.\nExperience with GxP systems, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and validation testing.\nExposure to Marketing Cloud Personalization,
