We're hiring across product, engineering, and operations to scale what we've built.\nThe Opportunity\nWe're looking for a People Operations Specialist to run the day-to-day people operations for Take In's Saudi team from our Khobar office.\nYou'll work across government platforms, employee records, onboarding, contracts, leave, payroll inputs, and offboarding. You'll also help improve the systems behind that work, so employees and managers can rely on a clear process and accurate information.\nYou'll have an experienced people team to learn from and work with. This is an opportunity to take practical ownership now and grow your responsibilities as your judgement and experience develop.\nYour Day-to-Day\nHandle the employee-related work on Saudi government platforms, keeping submissions, records, and follow-up organised and accurate.\n\nCoordinate onboarding from accepted offer to the employee's first weeks, making sure documents, internal handovers, and required setup are completed.\n\nMaintain employee records, contracts, leave information, and lifecycle changes in our HR systems and trackers.\n\nPrepare and check payroll inputs, resolve missing or inconsistent information, and coordinate corrections with the relevant owners.\n\nSupport employees and managers with routine people questions, explain established policies clearly, and bring sensitive or unfamiliar cases to the people team.\n\nCoordinate offboarding, including documentation, internal notifications, and completion of the required handovers.\n\nSupport hiring through organised scheduling, candidate follow-up, and a clear handover into onboarding.\n\nBuild or improve practical processes: an onboarding flow, a tracker, a reporting routine, or a clearer way to handle recurring requests.\n\nKeep useful people reports up to date and use HR systems, automation, and AI tools thoughtfully, with care for employee information.\n\nWhat You Bring\nAround 3-5 years in HR operations or a generalist role, including hands-on experience in a private company in Saudi Arabia.\n\nDirect experience using at least two of Qiwa, GOSI, Mudad, and Muqeem yourself.\n\nExperience across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, leave, payroll inputs, and offboarding.\n\nAt least one example of a people process or system you built or improved from start to finish. Be ready to explain the problem, what you changed, and how it helped.\n\nArabic and working English, with the ability to communicate clearly with employees, managers, and colleagues.\n\nGood judgement with confidential information, careful record keeping, and reliable follow-through.\n\nComfort with HR systems, spreadsheets, and learning new tools.\n\nOpenness to feedback and a willingness to develop your approach with an experienced people team.\n\nThe ability to work onsite in our Khobar office each working day.\n\nBonus\nExperience in a startup, growing business, or SME where you helped build HR processes.\n\nExperience with ZenHR or another HR information system.\n\nExperience supporting a structured hiring process or automating repetitive HR work.\n\nFamiliarity with Hadaf files and related administrative work.\n\nPHRi, CHRP, or SHRM-CP certification, or active study toward one.\n\nExperience supporting frontline teams in delivery, logistics, food and beverage, or retail.\n\nHow We Work\nYour base: You'll work onsite in Khobar and be the day-to-day people operations contact on the ground.\n\nYour support: You'll work with the People & Talent team, with guidance on priorities, complex cases, and your development.\n\nYour ownership: We expect you to run the work reliably, identify recurring problems, and improve the processes behind them.\n\nYour growth: You'll develop broader responsibility through practical delivery, feedback, and increasing independence.\n\nNotes to Applicants\nA few things worth knowing before you apply:\nInterviews are conducted in English, and over video - camera on is required.
