prepare drawings for release to fabrication\nInterpret and analyze technical reports and specifications\nUnderstand \"Good Engineering Practices\" for industry standards and routinely provides suggestions and feedback on drawings to aid in drafting development, problem solving, and solutions for the client incorporate best business practices or that are innovative\nSupport design efforts with detailed dimensional calculations to verify configurations and layouts\nMeet project deadlines and quality goals\nInteract with clients and vendors to accomplish project goals\nCommunicate with Supervisors, Managers and Engineers on project operations\nMentors other Technicians and Junior Mechanical Designers\nEducation/Experience:\nAssociated degree or bachelor’s degree in engineering\nSix or more years of CAD experience\nSix plus years of experience within the bulk material handling industry\nBilingual in, Spanish, German, considered an asset\nTechnical expertise in disciplinary field\nComputer Skills/Experience:\nDrawing Software: 2D & 3D using AutoCad, Advance Steel (preferred but not required),SolidWorks, and/orInventor desired\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nProvides mentorshipand feedback to otherCAD Technicians, Interns, and Junior Designers\nSalary from $102,000
