We are looking for someone who can analyse complex environments, challenge existing approaches, develop target-state options and turn architectural decisions into clear, actionable recommendations.\nWhat will you do?\nDefine decision-ready reference and target architectures for priority CIB capabilities, including capability decomposition, target building blocks, architecture principles, data and integration patterns, and transition considerations.\nWork closely with CIOs, Domain Technology Heads and senior business stakeholders, challenging existing architectures, inherited constraints, local variations and investment assumptions.\nAnalyse current application and platform landscapes to identify duplication, fragmentation, obsolescence, dependencies, risks and opportunities for consolidation.\nTranslate architecture decisions into clear application-level recommendations, such as adopt, consolidate, migrate, selectively invest, contain or retire, including dependencies and transition sequencing.\nAssess buy, build and reuse alternatives, evaluating market maturity, comparable CIB adoption, integration fit, vendor lock-in and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).\nPrepare and lead architecture decision forums and domain working groups, presenting options, trade-offs, recommendations, required decisions and open dependencies.\nAssess EUCs (End User Computing) and AI-enabled local solutions within the target architecture, defining appropriate classification, controls, ownership and transition paths.\nTranslate architecture decisions into fundable initiatives, contributing to preliminary business cases, expected benefits, complexity assessments, risks and investment planning.\nCollaborate with global and cross-domain teams to ensure alignment between strategic architecture and business transformation objectives.\n What are we looking for?\nMandatory requirements:\n8+ years of professional experience in technology architecture, enterprise architecture or technology transformation.\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience in CIB / Wholesale Banking. Experience in this sector is mandatory.\nProven experience defining reference architectures, target architectures and/or transition states in complex technology environments.\nExperience in at least one of the following areas:Application landscape rationalization\nPlatform consolidation\nTechnology modernization\n\nStrong understanding of current-to-target assessments and their implications across areas such as:Applications\nData\nIntegration\nCloud\nResilience\nCybersecurity\n\nAbility to engage with senior technology and business stakeholders, constructively challenge existing approaches and clearly communicate architectural recommendations.\nEnglish: minimum B2 level, ideally C1, with professional fluency in both written and spoken English.
