This role sits directly within the Front Office, delivering bespoke solutions for traders while providing hands-on production support in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.\nThe successful candidate will combine strong Python development skills, deep understanding of FI, SWAPS, BONDS, and other asset classes and trading processes, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset. This role requires the ability to operate with minimal supervision while managing expectations across a diverse stakeholder group.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain bespoke e-trading tools and solutions for FX traders.\n\nProvide real-time support to the Front Office, responding to urgent trading and production issues with speed and accuracy.\n\nCode and enhance analytics, pricing tools, automation scripts, and workflow solutions using Python.\n\nWork closely with FX traders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\n\nSupport and improve e-trading platforms, execution workflows, and trade lifecycle processes.\n\nInteract with a broad range of internal stakeholders (technology, quants, operations, risk) and occasional external stakeholders.\n\nManage expectations effectively by prioritising tasks based on urgency and business impact.\n\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in live trading environments.\n\nProduce clear reporting and updates into the team hierarchy and management structure.\n\nCollaborate with the wider global trading and technology teams to ensure alignment and consistency.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nStrong Python development skills (mandatory). & VBA\n\nSolid understanding of FI markets, asset classes, and trading processes.\n\nExperience working in a Front Office or E-Trading environment.\n\nHigh level of mathematical and analytical ability.\n\nBackground suited to Quantitative disciplines (e.g. Quant, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar).\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal oversight.\n\nProven experience supporting time-critical systems in a high-pressure environment.\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with traders and senior stakeholders.\n\nEducation\nMSc or equivalent advanced degree in a quantitative field (Quant Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or similar) is highly
