We also provide Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) services, Executive Search, Staffing and Business Development Support to small businesses.\nSo, what will the Controls Consultant at Talent Acquisition Concepts do?\nYou’ll play a critical role in in design, procurement, implementation, and operation of complex building automation systems to deliver value on internal and external client projects. The Controls Consultant will manage key client relationships and manage resources. The Controls Consultant will project staffing needs, assign work, as well as provide mentoring. This position offers career advancement and the opportunity to make an impact on our client’s growth and market opportunities.\nWhat does a typical day look like for a Controls Consultant? \nYou will:\nOversee BAS, Controls, and other system automation designs, shop drawings, programming, and installation.\nManage in-house engineering designs and deliverables according to budgets and schedules.\nManage our technical team.\nConduct design reviews, submittal reviews, reviews and facilitation of training plans, and O&M manual reviews\nReview and provide comments on designs for configuration, reliability, and redundancy.\nEnsure programming and execution of Automation systems meets design intent for functionality and quality.\nSupport BAS system as well as whole building commissioning efforts on related projects\nProvide quality assurance to ensure compliance with client criteria, codes, standards, and policies, and procedures.\nServe subject matter expert (SME) in Automation systems and integration.\nWork with senior leadership to grow our Engineering and Construction practice.\nOversee assigned staff.\nBe responsible for the application of company policies.\nWhat qualifications do you look for?\nYou might be the leader we’re looking for if you have:\nBachelor’s degree in Building Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education, technical training, and experience will be considered.\n8 years of of direct experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) is required\nAt least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity is required.\nMust have a superior track record of client satisfaction in mission-critical facilities and a passion for analyzing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and upgrading integrated systems in aging facilities and campus environments.\nMust possess an in-depth knowledge of industry standards and practices i.e. ASHRAE, BCA, ACG, GSA\nThe successful candidate will be a leader who initiates action and can lead a team and provide multi-discipline coordination.\nEffective communication and reporting skills at all working and management levels are essential.\nMust be a creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to understand and achieve goals and anticipate client needs.\nMust be proficient in the use of MS Office suite and scheduling software.\nTravel to and from local and remote project locations is required.\nWalking construction sites with uneven surfaces and in dust-generating environments\nMust be able to work a full day on a project site.\nClimbing stairs and ladders, carrying/operating test equipment up to 25 lbs.\nWorking near electrical and mechanical building equipment and systems\nWe are extra impressed with folks that:\nYou have an OSHA 30-hour certificate.\nTridium N4 Certified\nExperience with JCI and Distech\nNFPA 70E trained.\nOther\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nMust be able to obtain/maintain up to Top Security clearance.\nWhat kind of benefits does Talent Acquisition Concepts Offer? \nWe offer outstanding benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, a retirement plan, and a profit sharing/bonus plan.
