You will help keep mission-critical network and security services running 24/7, supporting infrastructure and services relied upon by thousands of people every day.\nYou will work across Cisco networking, LAN, WLAN, routing, switching, VPN, firewalls, data centre infrastructure and network security, while collaborating closely with experienced Network Engineering specialists on projects and the continued development of the environment.\nWhat you will be doing\nOperate and maintain a highly available Network & Security infrastructure\nResolve complex incidents within 2nd and 3rd Level Support\nTroubleshoot network, performance and security issues in a mission-critical environment\nWork hands-on across LAN, WLAN, routing, switching, VPN and firewall technologies\nParticipate in 24/7 incident management and an on-call rotation of approximately 10-12 weeks per year\nHandle service requests across switching, routing and IT security\nWork closely with Network Engineering specialists on infrastructure and security projects\nIndependently support projects from planning through implementation and successful commissioning\nContribute your operational expertise to improvements in the stability, performance and security of the environment\nGain further exposure to network automation and modern infrastructure technologies\nWhat we are looking for\nAt least 3 years of professional experience within Network Operations, Network Engineering and/or Network Security\nStrong hands-on experience within complex enterprise network environments\nGood practical knowledge of LAN, WLAN, routing, switching, VPN and firewalls\nStrong Cisco networking experience\nTechnical expertise operating around CCNP level\nExperience with some of the following would be highly advantageous:\nCisco ASA\nCisco Firepower\nCisco ACI\nA10 Load Balancers\nWeb Application Firewalls (WAF)\nNetwork automation\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities\nA structured, solution-oriented approach, particularly when handling complex or time-critical incidents\n Confident German (at least C1 level) and good English\nCategory B driving licence\nWhy consider this opportunity?\nCritical
