You will work closely with cloud, platform and cybersecurity specialists to embed security into architecture, automation, delivery and operational processes.\nYour Responsibilities\nEngineer and implement security requirements across a complex Microsoft Azure environment\nIdentify, evaluate and help remediate cybersecurity risks affecting the cloud platform\nDesign preventive security controls based on recognised industry practices\nSupport cloud projects by establishing protection requirements and designing practical security solutions\nEmbed security earlier within cloud engineering and delivery processes\nDevelop and continuously improve cloud security concepts, standards and technical guidelines\nReview cloud architectures, configurations and services from a security perspective\nContribute to infrastructure automation and secure Infrastructure as Code\nSupport the secure use of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services\nDocument solutions and transfer knowledge across technical teams\nAct as a trusted security partner to cloud engineers, architects and operational stakeholders\nYour Background\nDegree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline\nSeveral years of professional experience in cybersecurity, ideally with a strong cloud-security focus\nHands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its native security capabilities\nUnderstanding of security across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS environments\nExperience identifying technical risks and implementing effective security controls\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27001\nStrong understanding of secure architecture, identity, access control and cloud governance\nFluent English communication skills and a good command of German (to at least B1 level)\nParticularly Valuable Experience\nExperience in one or more of the following areas would be highly attractive:\nMicrosoft Defender for Cloud or Microsoft Defender XDR\nMicrosoft Entra ID, Conditional Access and Zero Trust\nIdentity and Access Management\nPrivileged Identity or Access Management\nAzure Kubernetes Service\nTerraform and Infrastructure as Code\nGit, GitHub and GitHub Actions\nCI/CD security and DevSecOps\nSecurity auditing, penetration testing or offensive security\nThreat modelling and secure architecture reviews\nCritical
