MEMS\nLocation: Zürich, Switzerland (hybrid)\nEmployment: Permanent\nAre you an experienced Process Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, developing innovative manufacturing processes and seeing your work make a real impact?\nDo you have a strong background in MEMS technology, wet chemical processing or semiconductor microfabrication?\nIf so, this could be an excellent next step in your engineering career.\nWe are working with an established, innovation-driven technology organisation in Switzerland that is looking to strengthen its specialist engineering team.\nWhat Will You Be Doing?\nYou will take ownership of challenging process engineering activities, helping develop and improve advanced manufacturing technologies.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDeveloping & Optimising Processes\nDesign, develop and refine wet chemical processing techniques used in microfabrication.\nImprove process performance, stability and repeatability through structured experimentation.\nEvaluate new technical approaches and support the introduction of improved manufacturing methods.\nEngineering & Technology Development\nParticipate in technical development projects, contributing specialist knowledge from initial investigation through to industrial implementation.\nPlan and conduct practical experiments in controlled manufacturing environments.\nAnalyse technical data, assess process results and translate findings into practical engineering improvements.\nProblem-Solving & Continuous Improvement\nInvestigate complex technical issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve manufacturing reliability, efficiency and overall process quality.\nWork across interconnected manufacturing stages to understand and optimise process performance.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with specialists from engineering, development and manufacturing.\nContribute to technical discussions, share knowledge and help shape engineering decisions.\nTake responsibility for your projects while benefiting from the expertise of a highly capable team.\nWhat We Are Looking For?\nWe are interested in speaking with technically strong, hands-on engineers who bring:\nA degree in Microtechnology, Microsystems Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Semiconductor Engineering or a related discipline.\n5+ years of relevant engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing, MEMS, microfabrication or a comparable technical environment.\nPractical knowledge of wet etching, wet chemical cleaning or related wet processing technologies.\nExperience working with specialised manufacturing equipment and an understanding of cleanroom processes.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical challenges.\nExperience supporting process development, optimisation, validation or industrialisation activities.\nA proactive, independent approach combined with strong teamwork and communication skills.\nLanguages: Good working proficiency in both German and English.\nWhy Should You Consider This Opportunity?\nThis position offers the chance to become part of a well-established Swiss technology business where engineering innovation is central to its continued success.\nMeaningful Engineering Challenges -
