HVAC & Sensor Technology\nZurich Region, Switzerland (hybrid)\nPermanent\nR&D | HVAC | Product Development | Industrialisation\nAre you an experienced engineer with a background in HVAC or building technology\nwho enjoys leading complex technical products from early development through to industrialisation?\nWe are supporting an established Swiss high-tech organisation in the search for a Technical R&D Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary product development projects within its HVAC technology portfolio.\nThis is an opportunity to work in a highly innovative engineering environment, developing advanced sensing and measurement technologies for HVAC and building applications, while taking genuine ownership of projects from concept through to market introduction.\nThe Role\nYou will lead technically complex R&D projects involving specialists from multiple engineering and business disciplines.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nLeading development programmes from concept and feasibility through development, industrialisation and launch\nTaking responsibility for project delivery, budget, technical risk and quality\nCoordinating multidisciplinary specialists across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, quality and commercial functions\nTranslating HVAC application and customer requirements into clear development priorities\nSupporting key technical and strategic decisions throughout the product development lifecycle\nIdentifying project and technical risks early and driving appropriate mitigation measures\nCreating alignment between engineering teams, business stakeholders and customer requirements\nEstablishing clear priorities and ensuring projects progress effectively against agreed objectives\nYour Background\nWe are particularly interested in candidates who combine a strong technical foundation with experience leading R&D or product development projects.\nIdeally, you will bring:\nA degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Sciences or another relevant technical discipline\nProfessional experience within HVAC, building technology, building automation, ventilation, indoor air quality or related technologies\nExperience within R&D, engineering and physical product development\nExperience taking technical products from development towards industrialisation and series production\nProven responsibility for complex technical projects involving multiple engineering disciplines\nA good understanding of the interaction between R&D, manufacturing/operations, quality and commercial teams\nThe technical credibility to work effectively with specialist engineers while maintaining responsibility for the overall project\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nGerman language skills are highly desirable, alongside strong English communication skills\nExperience with sensors, measurement technology, controls, electronics, mechatronics or other sophisticated HVAC-related products would be particularly attractive.\nWhy Consider This Opportunity?\nYou will be joining a successful Swiss technology environment where R&D and engineering are central to the business, rather than simply supporting functions.\nThe position offers:\nExposure to sophisticated technology and highly experienced engineering specialists\nGenuine involvement across the complete product lifecycle -
