You'll have the opportunity to combine hands-on PostgreSQL work with technical problem-solving, project delivery and customer advisory responsibilities.\nWhat We are Looking For\nPostgreSQL experience is the key requirement.\nIdeally, you will bring:\n5+ years of overall experience within databases\nAt least 2+ years of professional PostgreSQL experience\nStrong SQL and performance optimisation knowledge\nGood knowledge of Linux\nExperience working with highly available and business-critical database environments\nSome exposure to infrastructure automation\nExperience delivering database upgrades, transformations or migrations\nPrevious Oracle experiencewould be particularly interesting, especially if you have subsequently moved towards PostgreSQL\n\nContainers/Kubernetes exposure would be useful, but isn't essential\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills\nConfidence communicating directly with customers and technical stakeholders\nGerman at B2 level or above, ideally C1+\nGood professional English\nWhy This Opportunity?\nOne of the biggest attractions is the variety.\nRather than maintaining the same internal database estate year after year, you will work across different technical environments and customer challenges, giving you exposure to a broader range of PostgreSQL use cases.\nYou will also be joining an organisation where database technology is an established area of expertise and where knowledge sharing and continued technical development are actively encouraged.\nFor someone with an Oracle background who has already started specialising in PostgreSQL, this could be particularly attractive: you will be able to build significantly deeper PostgreSQL expertise while still benefiting from your previous enterprise database experience.\nWhat's On Offer?\nUp to 50% home office, depending on project requirements\nSupport for continued learning and professional development\nExposure to varied database transformation and migration projects\nOpportunity to work across cloud and traditional infrastructure\nCollaborative environment with experienced technical colleagues\nLong-term opportunity within an established Swiss technology
