The successful candidate will assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and IT systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and efficient network operations.\n\nThis role is suited to someone with a solid foundation in IT support and networking who is eager to develop their technical skills and grow within a network engineering environment.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure and equipment.\n\n Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi problems.\n\n Provide technical support for network-related hardware and software issues.\n\n Assist with the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, access points and other network devices.\n\n Monitor network performance and assist with identifying and resolving connectivity issues.\n\n Perform basic network diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify faults and implement solutions.\n\n Assist with network cabling, equipment installations and infrastructure upgrades.\n\n Support the maintenance of network documentation, configurations and technical records.\n\n Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers where necessary.\n\n Ensure network systems operate reliably, securely and efficiently.\n\n Provide general IT support when required.\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\nMinimum Requirements\n\n CompTIA A+ and Network+ (N+) certifications.\n\n 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT support, networking or a similar technical role.\n\n Basic understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.\n\n Knowledge of LAN, WAN and wireless networking principles.\n\n Familiarity with routers, switches, access points and network cabling.\n\n Basic experience in network troubleshooting and diagnostics.\n\n Good problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\n Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.\n\n A willingness to learn, take initiative and develop technical expertise.\n\nAdvantageous Skills\n\n Exposure to network monitoring and diagnostic tools.\n\n Familiarity with firewall configuration and basic network security.\n\n Exposure to Microsoft Windows environments and Active Directory.\n\n Knowledge of VLANs, VPNs and basic routing and switching.\n\n Experience with Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti or other networking equipment.\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\n Technically curious and eager to learn.\n\n Strong attention to detail.\n\n Proactive approach to troubleshooting.\n\n Good organisational and time-management skills.\n\n Customer-focused with a professional approach to technical support.\n\n Able to work independently while
