You will translate the brand's strategy, founder voice, campaign priorities and content direction into consistent, timely and commercially effective social execution.\nThe brand will provide the overarching direction, founder voice, campaign priorities, promotional strategy, messaging frameworks and much of the copy. We need a highly capable operator who can take that direction and execute it consistently, accurately and with strong judgment.\nThis is an embedded team role, not an outside agency relationship. We want someone who becomes deeply familiar with the brand, customer and business.\nSocial Media Management\nManage day-to-day execution across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.\n\nMaintain and execute the approved social content calendar.\n\nSchedule and publish approved content accurately and on time.\n\nVerify captions, tags, links, product information and calls to action.\n\nCoordinate founder-led content supplied by the internal team.\n\nRepurpose high-performing historical content when appropriate.\n\nCommunity Management and Social Listening\nMonitor comments, tags, mentions, hashtags and direct messages.\n\nRespond to appropriate community interactions using brand guidelines.\n\nRoute customer-service or product issues to the appropriate team member.\n\nIdentify trends, emerging conversations and customer feedback.\n\nMonitor discussions involving the brand, its founder, its products and relevant textured-hair conversations.\n\nEscalate meaningful positive or negative social activity to marketing leadership.\n\nUGC and Creator Discovery\nIdentify strong UGC featuring the brand's products.\n\nRequest permission to repost or collaborate when appropriate.\n\nMaintain an organized pipeline of potential UGC creators and micro-influencers.\n\nIdentify creators who meet established criteria and flag high-potential opportunities.\n\nConduct basic creator outreach.\n\nSupport initial conversations involving creator codes, affiliate opportunities or paid UGC.\n\nSocial Commerce\nSupport TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop execution.\n\nEnsure products are correctly tagged and linked.\n\nCheck social-to-commerce links and customer pathways.\n\nSupport live-selling initiatives and social commerce activations.\n\nCoordinate social promotions with e-commerce and campaign priorities.\n\nMonitor social-commerce performance and flag opportunities or problems.\n\nExperience with TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop and live commerce is strongly preferred but will not automatically disqualify an otherwise exceptional social media operator.\nReporting and Optimization\nPrepare concise weekly social performance reporting.\n\nMonitor reach, engagement, shares, saves, follower growth, clicks and commerce-related activity.\n\nIdentify top- and bottom-performing content.\n\nRecommend posts or concepts worth retesting.\n\nFlag material changes in performance.\n\nBring observations and recommendations, not simply numbers.\n\nThis Role Is Not Primarily Responsible For\nOverall brand strategy\n\nMajor campaign strategy\n\nProfessional video production\n\nAdvanced video editing\n\nPaid-media strategy\n\nRetail strategy\n\nFounder positioning\n\nEnterprise affiliate strategy\n\nBasic video editing is a plus but is not required.\nThis Is for You If...Culture Fluent.
