The Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead is responsible for leading software engineering teams to successfully develop and implement features, troubleshoot technical challenges, and manage product releases. This role involves planning large tasks, delegating work effectively, and ensuring high code quality through rigorous pull request reviews. The Tech Lead is accountable for delivering complex, production-ready features to QA, addressing roadblocks with persistence, and collaborating with team members to solve problems. With expertise in at least one coding area (backend, frontend, or devops), they ensure alignment with industry standards and promote a big-picture understanding of business challenges. This role also mentors junior engineers, supports hiring and training, and drives continuous improvements in code quality, system health, and QA practices. The Tech Lead fosters transparency within the team, communicates technical decisions clearly, and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.\nThe base salary range for this role is between $175,000 - $215,000.
