A large part of how customers discover and use Tamara happens in-store-at the till and through conversations with store employees.\nAs a Merchant Field & Marketing Intern, you will be Tamara's on-ground representative across assigned partner stores. You will help ensure Tamara is visible, understood, and confidently recommended by store teams. This is a field role, not a desk role: you will spend most days visiting stores, building relationships, improving execution, gathering frontline insights, and reporting progress.\nDuration and Performance Reviews\nThe internship is designed as a 90-day / 3-month programme. Performance will be reviewed weekly so interns receive timely feedback, clear priorities, and practical support to improve throughout the programme.\nA formal progress assessment will take place at the end of the first 45 days. We want every intern to succeed and will provide regular guidance along the way. At the same time, consistent performance, reliability, quality of execution, and follow-through are essential to this field role. If performance at the 45-day assessment is not satisfactory, Tamara may conclude the internship at that stage rather than continue it through the full 90 days.\nYour Responsibilities:\nVisit assigned merchant stores according to a planned route and schedule\nCheck that Tamara signage, standees, counter cards, and other in-store materials are visible, accurate, current, and in good condition\nFix simple execution gaps and escalate missing materials, operational blockers, or recurring issues\nBrief and retrain store managers, accountants, cashiers, and sales associates on how Tamara works and how to explain it clearly to customers\nBuild strong working relationships with store teams so Tamara remains visible and confidently recommended between visits\nMaintain an accurate directory of key store contacts, including managers, finance contacts, checkout leads, and sales-floor leads\nGather anonymised frontline insight from store employees about customer questions, objections, checkout drop-off, competitor mentions, and opportunities to improve conversion\nCapture approved photos and short videos for Tamara's marketing and UGC-style content\nLog every visit, including tasks completed, employees met, staff trained, issues found, insights gathered, evidence captured, and follow-up actions\nSubmit a weekly report summarising store coverage, improvements, risks, recurring insights, and priorities for the following week\nScore stores against Tamara's evaluation framework and track progress from the current state to the target state\nHow Success Will Be Measured\nCompletion of planned store visits\nQuality and consistency of in-store Tamara visibility\nNumber of store employees trained and improvement in their Tamara knowledge\nSpeed and quality of issue identification, escalation, and resolution\nCompleteness of the store contact directory\nQuality of daily visit logs and weekly reports\nUsefulness of consumer and employee insights gathered\nQuantity and quality of approved content captured\nImprovement in store evaluation scores over time\nWorking Expectations\nRepresent Tamara professionally and respect merchant operating hours\nSecure approval before capturing any in-store content\nDo not photograph or record customers without approved consent\nKeep merchant and employee contact details in approved Tamara systems only\nReport facts and recurring patterns clearly, and escalate urgent merchant, customer, compliance, or brand risks on the same
