At your previous job you often felt impatient that your team’s next wave of improvements isn’t in your users' hands already. At Tandem you’ll be using that mindset to solve the problem that today clinicians are forced to work in systems that work against them rather than with them. \nAs a Product Engineer at Tandem you’ll be shaping and building towards our product vision, working closely with designers, other engineers and our users. Owning and shipping features end to end, from understanding the user's pain-point through shipping it to clinicians all over Europe and polishing it to delight our users. You’re deeply technical, but ultimately, you’re motivated by crafting great products that solve real problems, and you’ll roll up your sleeves and get that done.\nWhat you will do:\nOwn Product development end-to-end by defining product requirements, setting priorities, and translating ideas into technical specifications\n\nPartner directly with designers, users, and other engineers to shape and deliver impactful features.\n\nDesign and implement scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.\n\nEnsure applications provide an intuitive and seamless user experience, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and end-users.\n\nMaintain high standards of code quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation.\n\nUse the best modern tools to ship great features as fast as possible.\n\nWhat You Bring\nA strong product mindset with the ability to define, build, and ship impactful features end-to-end.\n\nProven experience building and deploying production-grade Python systems.\n\nStrong programming skills in TypeScript and React.\n\nExperience with cloud infrastructure and a focus on scalability and reliability\n\nA passion for technical excellence and a drive to deliver impactful solutions.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nBonus Points\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nExperience in the healthcare industry or with health-related applications\n\nExperience building Large Language Model (LLM) applications.\n\nExperience handling streaming audio and transcription.\n\nExperience with Kubernetes and Azure \n\nLocation\nWe believe the best ideas happen when we’re together.
