And our spirit of innovation, expertise, and relentless pursuit of excellence brings us together.\nAbout the Role\nIn our continued mission to create shopping destinations that entertain, inspire,and bring communities together, Tanger is seeking a\nTanger Ambassador - HersheyThis role offers the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively,\nsupported by a flexible, Teams-driven workplace designed to empower connection, innovation, and impact across geographies.\nAbout the Tanger Perks:\nCompetitive salary\n\n401(k) match\n\nVoluntary Benefits\n\nTeam Member Discounts\n\nAnd more…\n\nHow can you contribute to what we do?\nJob Description\nESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaintain a polished and professional appearance that aligns with our brand image.\n\nAttend Tanger virtual or in-person sessions, webinars, or meetings to enhance knowledge and skills as a brand ambassador.\n\nEngage and proactively assist all guests across the center as assigned, driving consumer awareness, providing a consistent brand voice, and creating a fun welcoming atmosphere.\n\nDevelop and maintain expert knowledge of all center store locations, amenities, local and national programs, promotional offers, and event details in order to answer questions and provide superior customer service to Tanger’s shoppers and retailers.\n\nPrepare and hand out samples, coupons, and product information. Distribute these marketing and promotional materials to shoppers.\n\nCollect and record customer feedback and information as needed internally and for client relations.\n\nUse expert mobile technology skills to educate all shoppers on TangerClub benefits and opportunities for additional savings, sales, contests, events, and loyalty perks via the Tanger Mobile App. Assist new customers in signing up for TangerClub and any help needed with the Mobile App.\n\nRepresent Tanger by actively participating in on-site and off-site marketing events to promote marketing initiatives locally and regionally, for conferences, trade shows and other events.\n\nAssist in set up, organization, and breakdown for events.\n\nCapture and recap promotional events via photos, video, audio, etc.\n\nFoster partnerships with our retailers by responding appropriately to retailer requests.\n\nAssist center management team as needed.\n\nDrive operational excellence according to Tanger policy and procedure by reporting center issues or concerns in a timely and accurate manner to center management and in accordance with policy.\n\nProvide general administrative and clerical support to include general office up-keep and organization.\n\nAssist in receiving shipments, route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail and overnight packages as needed.\n\nAs needed, assist with the following and make sure they are maintained and regularly updated: emergency notification systems, HVAC & roof logs, center collateral & signage, center website, vendor check-in & social media channels.\n\nAssist in training new Brand Ambassadors as needed.\n\nPerform additional duties or participate in other special projects as assigned.\n\nCOMPETENCIES:\nThis list is illustrative only and not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by incumbents of this class.\nFocused on making the best first impression-smile, welcome and connect with customers authentically.\n\nEffective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small, and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.\n\nAbility to offer “best in class” service, anticipate needs, and leave the customer with a positive Tanger experience.\n\nAbility to carefully listen and understand a customer’s situation in order to assist them.\n\nAble to acknowledge, interact and build relationships with shoppers, vendors, and retailers.\n\nAbility to maintain a polite demeanor and demonstrate patience when interacting with customers.\n\nAbility to act in a professional manner at all times.\n\nAbility to remain up to date on Tanger marketing initiatives to drive revenue generation.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively including using positive language\n\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English, bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.\n\nAbility to use and navigate current/emerging technology and applications with proficiency.
