By transforming how our nation solves complex software challenges, our work accelerates innovation that strengthens national security.\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION /\nThe Collaboration Platform Administrator is a critical, mission-enabling role within a modern engineering environment that enables end-to-end requirement traceability, development integration, and secure user collaboration across the enterprise. Operating within both Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and higher security level enclaves, this position delivers advanced administration, governance, and user support for an integrated digital engineering toolchain-including tools such as Jama Connect, Atlassian Data Center applications (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), and GitLab repositories. Acting as the secondary Security Point of Contact (POC) for these platforms, this position will assist with ensuring all tool configurations, workflows, and access controls strictly align with applicable security policies, compliance procedures, and role-based permissions. Serving in a highly collaborative capacity, the candidate will partner with systems engineering, software development, cloud infrastructure, and program management teams to resolve cross-platform issues via a Jira Service Desk ticketing system. By actively engaging geographically separated Air Force, Navy, and stakeholder teams, this role supports the program’s technical lead in delivering a highly available, scalable, and fully documented digital ecosystem that directly aligns with mission-critical program objectives.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES /\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSupport administrative duties for digital engineering and support tools\nProvide troubleshooting, guidance, and support to users\nMaintain requirements workflows that support end-to-end traceability links across Digital Engineering tools and processes\nProvide stakeholder engagement and customer support for geographically separated teams, facilitating communication, gathering requirements, tracking issues, and communicating system changes\nSupport tool operations within multiple security level environments in accordance with applicable organizational security, access, and handling procedures\nServe as the secondary security point of contact for digital engineering tools; assist in coordinating security-related requirements, access management, compliance activities, and issue resolution at all applicable organizational levels\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, such as including standard operating procedures, system configuration documentation, onboarding materials, workflow diagrams, configuration records, troubleshooting guides, and user-reference materials\nSupport training, onboarding, and recurring user engagement activities for new and existing system users\nParticipate in regular administration team meetings to prioritize user support requests, operational issues, system enhancements, and maintenance activities\nDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE /\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Systems, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)\nMust be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.\n2+ years of experience with requirement management software (preferably Jama Connect)\n2+ years of experience with work management software (preferably Atlassian’s Jira & Confluence)\n2+ years of experience working with Jira service desk ticketing system\nExperience administering user accounts, roles, permissions, and project-level access controls\nExperience performing security audits within DoD CUI and Secret environments\nDaily work location at WPAFB, Fairborn, Ohio\nThis position's travel requirements are approximately 10% - 15%\nPreferred :\n2+ years of experience with Jira/GitLab integration\nExperience with requirements traceability, workflow configuration, baselining, review/approval processes, and reporting\nTool Integration: Technical proficiency in using Jama’s REST API or ReqIF for data exchange between platforms.\nCurrent CompTIA Security+ certification\nExperience using integration tools (Jama Connect Interchange, Planview, Cameo DataHub, & GitLab)\nExperience practicing Agile methodologies\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to travel by air, car, or other transportation methods\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours/day)\nAbility to lift and carry lightweight items (e.g., laptops, demo equipment, marketing materials) up to 25 lbs\nFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing, using a mouse, writing, and handling equipment\nVisual acuity to read detailed technical documents, view computer screens, and operate software systems\nAuditory ability to participate in meetings, customer demos, and conference calls, including in potentially noisy environments (e.g., trade shows or military facilities)\nMobility to move between office spaces, customer sites, conference venues, and manufacturing or lab environments\nFlexibility to adapt to varying work environments (e.g., corporate offices, government buildings, industrial or lab spaces)\nWe are committed to staying rooted in our core value of Team First.
