Office Furniture Installer/Delivery Driver - Dallas

Summary:

The individual will be responsible for driving delivery vehicles and making deliveries of product to the company’s customers. Such duties will include, but not limited to, loading and unloading product into company deliver vehicles, loading and unloading product at customer locations and operating company delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.

The essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

PLEASE NOTE - THE PRIMARY DUTIES FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY IS TO PERFORM SMALL OFFICE FURNITURE INSTALLATIONS AND DRIVE A COMPANY VEHICLE TO CUSTOMER LOCATIONS TO EXECUTE DELIVERIES.

WE ARE CONSIDERING CANDIDATES THAT HAVE OFFICE FURNITURE INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE ONLY.

*Drive company truck with a capacity of 29,000 lbs to transport office furniture and other material to customer sites.

*Loads and unload furniture and other material at company and client site.

*Secures furniture items properly to prevent damage during shipment.

*Interacts with client regarding product issues upon delivery as well as obtaining client signature for product. *Complete exception report for discrepancies.

*Informs scheduling department of any delays to schedule i.e.: traffic, etc.

*Performs installation of case goods and cleaning of product.

*May provide direction to more junior level employees who assist in the delivery and installation of furniture items.

*Change tires and makes minor truck repairs when required.

*Perform other related job responsibilities as required.
