customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.\nKeep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's products and operations.\nRecommend and support software engineering best practices and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team.\nDrive technological excellence, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of all software.\nAdvocate best practices in software development\nSkills and Experience Required:\nBachelor or Master degree with substantial experience in leading sizable development team (min 20 members) with min 6 years of experience in banking industry\nExperience in managing large complex IT projects with offshore and vendor resources\nExceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of talented engineers.\nStrategic thinker with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.\nMust have appreciation of various application development tools and latest technologies\nPrior experience in managing java or .net development will be a plus\nExperience in workflow and compliance application is a plus\nAppreciation of IT
