Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.\nWhat you’ll do\nWork alongside a cross-functional engineering team to develop the next generation pipeline to build, release, and test Tanium products and services \nSupport existing efforts to deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments \nDeploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture \nWork with product security teams to build tools to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities \nDesign systems that effectively monitor critical infrastructure, plan for future needs, and rapidly respond to incidents \n Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments \nPlan, execute, and support scheduled major improvements to our infrastructure \nWe’re looking for someone with\nEducationBachelor's or equivalent experience. \nCS Degree preferred. \n\nExperience5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or SRE role \n5+ years of experience managing cloud-based services with AWS, GCP or Azure (AWS preferred) \n3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code with Pulumi or Terraform (Pulumi preferred) \n3+ years of Docker/Kubernetes experience in production environment \nDeep understanding of networking, with the ability to build and maintain complex networks \n3+ years of experience writing software that utilizes 3rd party APIs (go preferred) \nExperience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef or another config management suite, know where it's broken, and are open to trying new alternatives \nExperience with modern software engineering development and automation tools (Git, GitHub Actions, JIRA) \nExperience with virtualization technologies (VirtualBox, VMWare Fusion, vCenter) \nExperience with hybrid cloud environments \nExperience managing metrics gathering and reporting systems (Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB) \nExperience with Linux environments \nBelieves in the power of test and process automation \nDeliberate and demonstrates sound judgment for balancing between rapid development and long-term code maintainability and supportability \nSkilled debugger who can put out fires under pressure when things go wrong in production environments \nRelentless desire to automate and build software tools \nHave a customer-centric work approach to drive positive experiences for Tanium customers \nProven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams \nAbility to work efficiently and effectively in a remote work setting \nMotivated self-starter \n\nAbout Tanium \nTanium is the Autonomous IT company.
