Tantalus also offers generous benefits, including medical, dental and vision plans, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts and paid time off.\nThe Opportunity\nReporting to the Manager, Project Management, the Field Project Manager is a member of the Customer Operations team and is responsible for providing oversight of TRUConnect AMI deployments at customer sites. The Field Project Manager will be the primary point of contact in managing these complex, multi-faceted projects and will be heavily involved in managing customer relationships.\nLocation:\nThis position will be based remotely within the United States from your home-based office, preferably in states such as IN, MN, MO, IA, or TN. Candidate’s must reside within one hour of a major airport as this position will require up to 50% travel.\nSpecifically, the Field Project Manager will:\nPlan, execute, monitor, and control projects from initiation through to delivery and commissioning\nSupport customers in solving complex problems, as well as provide customer training and technical on-site support\nProvide leadership to multiple stakeholders to define requirements, establish system design, coordinate deliveries and report to customers\nOversee systems integration - specifically, work with customer utilities in integrating TRUConnect AMI to other utility vendor systems\nNegotiate, implement, and supervise subcontracts, when required\nRegularly review and report on project performance to management and other stakeholders\nWhat you Bring:\nEducation and Experience:\nA Bachelor's degree or advanced certification in Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering (Computer, Electrical or Systems), or other related field\n6+ years of experience managing the operation, deployment and/or installation of large, multi-faceted projects in large IT, telemetry, control or communications systems/networks\nCustomer/stakeholder management experience\nA PMP designation is preferred\nExperience in AMI/AMR, RF or Wireless communications is an asset\nPersonal Attributes Required: \nA demonstrated aptitude for understanding complex technical communication systems and technology in a short time\nAttention to detail, deadlines and strong problem-solving skills\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently while exercising proactivity, flexibility and good judgement\nStrong organizational, planning and follow-through skills\nAbility to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects, tasks, stakeholders and remain focused in a fast paced, high volume work environment\nAbility to manage dynamic external and internal stakeholder relationships\nExcellent collaborative and interpersonal skills\nProficiency using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint\nExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skills\nIf you possess some of the key skills and experiences outlined in the job posting and are genuinely interested in the position, we invite you to take a chance and submit your application.
