Treasury Section Head

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily cash positioning and monitor overall liquidity to ensure efficient cash flow management across the organization.
• Supervise the reporting and monitoring of cash balances through the FIS system and online banking platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Lead the preparation and review of short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and funding plans to support business operations and strategic objectives.
• Manage and control all loan and banking facility agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and financing requirements.
• Review and approve monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding and unreconciled items.
• Oversee interbank cash transfers and optimize fund allocation across bank accounts to maximize liquidity efficiency.
• Supervise treasury investment activities, including the purchase and sale of Treasury Bills, ensuring alignment with the company's liquidity and investment strategies.
• Review and validate treasury-related accounting entries on SAP, including interest, bank charges, receivables/payables checks, Treasury Bills, and loan transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead coordination with banks regarding Letters of Credit (LCs), Letters of Guarantee (LGs), banking facilities, and new account openings, ensuring timely processing and alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate with the FSSC team to ensure timely settlement of supplier payments and proper maintenance of related financial records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, banking regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Support management with treasury analysis, banking relationship management, and recommendations to enhance cash management efficiency and financial performance.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance.

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Treasury.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification is preferred.

Languages

• Excellent command of English.
