Job Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, and enhance an existing Python-based automation framework.\nDesign, develop, and maintain test tools based on project requirements.\nImplement AI-based models to improve test dashboards, tools, and test automation.\nSet up and maintain Jenkins/GitLab-based pipelines for the test team.\nCreate UI frameworks using Selenium/Playwright (or equivalent tools) and Python unit test-based backend scripts.\nWork with management on a forward-looking roadmap. Ideate and strategize all automation projects within the QA team.\nReview test plans/test code written by other team members.\nEnsure effective communication of project and testing status to all stakeholders.\n Required Skills & Experience:\nBachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline \n8 - 12 years of QA automation experience using Python/Java on complex embedded telecom products OR microservices-based SaaS products deployed on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP\nGood understanding of Object-Oriented Design methodology and familiarity with at least one test framework - unittest, pytest, nose\nFluent with setting up Jenkins or GitLab pipelines\nGood understanding and hands-on experience with any version management tool - git, perforce, bitbucket, svn\nExperience in functional and system-level testing of APIs (familiarity with REST API, JSON, XML) and Frontend (UI)\nExperience with Selenium/Playwright (or equivalent tools) for UI automation\nExperience in networking tools like IPerf, Xena, TRex, IXIA, VIAVI JDSU, and understanding networking is a plus\nExperience in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting\nJoin Tarana and help shape the future of wireless connectivity.\nAbout Us\nTarana’s mission is to accelerate the deployment of fast, affordable, and reliable internet access around the world.
