Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds on a commercial building portfolio throughout the Austin MSA.\nQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:\nHigh School Diploma or GED, preferably Associates Degree or other trade school experience\nAdditional professional certifications are a plus.\nMinimum 2 years of direct work experience in commercial property maintenance and operations.\nMust be a professional, dependable, flexible, & accountable individual with effective communication skills, positive attitude, & excels at Tenant relations.\nMust be motivated, takes initiative to complete tasks without constant direct supervision.\nMust have knowledge of facility maintenance & repairs including but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, pluming, lighting systems & other general repairs \nMust have reliable transportation & good driving record\nMust be able to pass pre-hire drug & background screening\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform completion of work orders and maintenance requests, emergency repairs & response calls, and preventative maintenance.\nInspect the properties regularly and ensure all building systems (elevator, HVAC, fire, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are working properly and are well maintained. \nInspect and oversee any maintenance or repairs made by third party vendors to ensure the work is done properly as per the scope of work.\nResponds quickly to emergency situations including after hours emergency calls\nPerform other duties as needed as determined by Property
