The role of a Baker can provide you with theskills and experiences of:\nGuest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture in food\n\nPreparingquality products in the Bakery\n\nMonitoring sales of products and adjusting production to drive efficiency, profitability andminimizewaste\n\nAs aBaker,no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:\nCreate an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:\n\nGreet:\n\n10ft: be friendly - smile, make eye contact, or wave\n\n4ft: greet the guest, smile andinitiatea warm, helpful interaction\n\nHelp guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience\n\nEnd every guest transaction with a sincere thank you\n\nActively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude\n\nAdjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience\n\nDeliver an exceptional guest experiencebyproviding a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.\n\nUphold andmaintainthe execution of theFood&Beverage Standards.\n\nEngage with guests to captureand fulfilltheir customized Bakery order.\n\nExecuteFood&Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment,straighteningmerchandise,instocksroutines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning,signingandorganizing and storing reserve product.\n\nProduce, package and label items to specifications on production cards and follow specific department routines to drive sales,instocksand profitability\n\nFollow all food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive fooditems,asoutlinedinTarget's policies and procedures.\n\nLocate andidentifydamaged,recalledor expired items andprocessaccording toTarget's policies and procedures.\n\nUse sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.\n\nFollow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure anaccurate recording of inventory.\n\nAppropriately use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.\n\nAlwaysdemonstratea culture of ethicalconduct,safetyand compliance.\n\nWork in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policies, best practices, and training;
