The role of a Food & Beverage Expert can provide you with theskills and experiences of:\nGuest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-firstand freshnessculture inFood &Beverage\n\nFood & Beverage business fundamentals, includingsales trends, inventory, quality and freshness management,andguest shopping patterns\n\nUnderstanding food seasonality, freshness and quality, food safety standards and routines, and merchandising\n\nWorking with a dynamic and fast-paced team focused onthe guest experience androutinely executing the Food & Beverage Standardsand best practicesthrough individual Assignment Sheetsand task execution.\n\nAs aFood & Beverage Expert, no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:\nCreate an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:\n\nGreet:\n\n10ft: be friendly - smile, make eye contact, or wave\n\n4ft: greet the guest, smile andinitiatea warm, helpful interaction\n\nHelp guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience\n\nEnd every guest transaction with a sincere thank you\n\nActively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude\n\nAdjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience\n\nDeliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.\n\nUphold andmaintainthe execution of the Food&Beverage Standards.\n\nExecute Food & Beverage processes includingfood deliveries,replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocksroutines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning,signingandorganizing and storing reserveproduct.\n\nFollow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.\n\nUse sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.\n\nWork with vendors to proactively set,maintainand make planned changes tosalesfloormerchandise displays and to keep organized backroom space.\n\nLocate andidentifydamaged,recalledor expired items andprocessaccording to Target’s policies and procedures.\n\nExecute all federal,stateand localadult beveragelaws as they apply to your business.\n\nAppropriately use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.\n\nAlwaysdemonstratea culture of ethical conduct,safetyand compliance.\n\nWork in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policies, best practices, and training;
