We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, available,accurately priced and signed on the sales floorin our smallest format stores.Expertsofservice,operations, process andefficiency, thisteamis responsible forbeing proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as, but not limited to, cashiering, stocking,presentationand price accuracy.You’llprovide exceptional guest service, customizing eachexperienceandanticipatingguestneeds.

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture across the store

• Retail business fundamentals,includingdepartment sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management,andprocess efficiency&improvement

• Supporting daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

As aSmall Format Team Member, no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:

• Greet:

• 10ft: be friendly - smile, make eye contact, or wave

• 4ft: greet the guest, smile andinitiatea warm, helpful interaction

• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience

• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you

• Actively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude

• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

• Helpguests asyoucompleteworkloadwith minimal guest disruption.

• Work in all departments to ensure salesfloor isfull, zonedand in stock for guests.

• Assistwith truck unload process and stock product to the sales floor.

• Make changes tosalesfloormerchandise displaysforall departments.

• Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for all departments.

• Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Support execution of major transitions.

• Maintaininterior and exteriorbrand, including emptying garbage cans andattending torestroom cleanliness,collecting carts, chargingelectroniccarts, recyclingand attendingto spills throughout the store as needed.

• Accurately execute allfills(i.e.,fill the floor, liabilityfills, and guest requests)andorganize and storereserveproductfrom all departments.

• Process all inbound deliveries(using the receive application)to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits.

• If certified,operatedpowered equipment to move merchandise on the sales floor and in the backroom.

• Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy and follow equipment guidelines.

• Follow processes accurately with attention to detail,monitorown progress and accurately prioritize tasks.

• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct,safetyand compliance.

• Work in a safe mannerat alltimes;comply withall safety policies,best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.

• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and localadult beveragelaws.

• All other dutiesbasedon business needs.

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices andoperatehandheld scanners, and othertechnologyequipment as directed

• Work both independently and with a team

• Resolve guest questionsquickly on the spot

• Attention to detail and followmulti-step process

• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment andaccomplishmultiple tasks within establishedtimeframes

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.

• Climb up and down ladders.

• Scan,handleand move merchandise efficiently and safely, includingfrequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise and fixtures up to44 pounds withoutadditionalassistance from others.

• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights,weekendsand holidays); come to work when scheduled,work scheduled shifts and take required mealand rest breaks

• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.

• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
