• Knowledge of federal,stateand localemployment laws

• Experience using basic Microsoft Office Suite computer and workforce management programs

• Ability to effectively use scheduling software

As a Human Resources Expert, no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day will most likely includethe following responsibilities:

• Work with your HR leader to anticipateand address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business; this includes understanding guests’ needs and ensuring the right mix of experience, and enthusiasm to deliver on the in-store and digital shopping experiences.

• Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidateswith the right skills and experiences to best serve their guest.

• Support team member and leadertraining needs and be an advocate for continuous learning.

• Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.

• Be approachable and availableby listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leadersto take actionas needed.

• Deliver on all Human Resources processes andprogramsto maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption.

• Supportyour leader in following company compliancepolicies that mitigaterisk to the team member experience.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.

• When a guest needs assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.

• Thank guestsandlet them know we’rehappy they chose to shop at Target.

• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safetyand compliance.

• Work in a safe manner at all times;comply withall safety policies,bestpractices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.

• All other duties based on business needs

• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, daysor shifts (including nights, weekends, holidaysand other peak shopping times).

The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be aHuman Resources Expert. Butthere are a few skills you should have from the get-go:

• Welcoming and helpful attitude towardallguests and other team members

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operatehandheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.

• Effective communication skills

• Work both independently and with a team

• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes

• Capability to remainfocused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplishmultiple tasks within established timeframes

• Accurately handle cash register operationsas needed.

• Liftproduct up to 10 pounds regularly without additionalassistance from others.

• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.

• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).

• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekendsand holidays); reliable and prompt attendancenecessary
