ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

Experts ofoperations, process and efficiency whoenable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring productis set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricingand promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM)areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, packand ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store

• Experience in retail business fundamentalsincluding:department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement

• Experience executingdaily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

As anInbound Expert, no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day will most likely includethe following responsibilities:

• Execute a detailed, accurateand efficient sorting operation.

• Stock,organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandiseon sales floor.

• Maintain product availabilityon the salesfloor for GM categories.

• Operate poweredequipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.

• Process defective merchandiseand handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safetyand compliance.

• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.

• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Driveup (DU)and maintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beveragelaws.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.

• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.

• Thank guestsand let them know we’rehappy they chose to shop at Target.

• All other duties based on business needs

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, daysor shifts (including nights, weekends, holidaysand other peak shopping times).

The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know tobe an Inbound Expert. But,there are a few skills you should have from the get-go:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operatehandheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

• Work both independently and with a team

• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes

• Capability to remainfocused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplishmultiple tasks within established timeframes

• Accurately handle cash register operationsas needed

• Climb up and down ladders

• Scan, handleand move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 44pounds

• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekendsand holidays) reliableand prompt attendance necessary

• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.

• Ability to remainmobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
