We use good data, in-depth analysis and cross-functional insights to identify and communicate the best practices that elevate our sourcing and procurement work to its highest potential.\nA role with Procurement Services is a chance to positively impact several key areas of Target’s business by:\nPromoting best practices across the entire company by developing deep knowledge and client relationships in each spend category \nProviding expert integrated business planning and stakeholder management for all indirect items and services \nApplying intelligent rate, demand and specification levers to source, negotiate and contract services while sustainably lowering costs \nPropelling the business with accurate and comprehensive demand forecasting, financial planning and item setup \nChanging the game for our internal online catalog end users by making the entire buying process faster and simpler \nHelping us cultivate Target’s partnerships with diverse, community-minded suppliers who are committed to economic development and job growth \nPrimary Functions\nAs a Professional specialist, you will be accountable for driving operational excellence and ensuring team goals are met. You will also drive and contribute to key enterprise initiatives. Your responsibilities would include:\nEffectively plan and prioritize workload for timely and accurate delivery\nAs a SME, train and coach team members and ensure adherence to best practices and Standard Operating procedures; create and maintain Knowledge Articles and training documents for new processes and existing processes\nStrive for continuous process improvement to achieve operational excellence\nBe the primary point of contact for partners and collaborate with teams across the organization for projects and process requirements; support cross-functional projects to achieve process simplification and drive efficiency\nActively contribute to process transitions by supporting knowledge transfer, process documentation and team member training\nPurchasing Chat bot program - Monitor progress and timely completion of Jira stories assigned to team; lead bot testing and building test scenarios; guide team members on data analysis and reporting of Chat bot performance\nLead reporting activities and Dashboard creations for Operational and Chatbot metrics\nVendor payment - Partner with stakeholders to ensure blocked and failed invoices are reconciled and resolved for timely vendor payment; contribute to vendor onboarding and training program by analyzing trends and identifying vendor training requirement\nSupport vendors by resolving their queries on invoice processing and payment issues\nPurchase order management - Coach and guide team members in Purchase Order creation and amendment;
