The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricingand promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM)areas of the store. The role of aReverse LogisticsExpert can provide you with the:\nKnowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store\n\nExperience in retail business fundamentalsincluding:department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency and improvement\n\nExperience executingthedaily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals\n\nAs a Reverse LogsiticsExpert,no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day will most likely includethe following responsibilities:\nBe knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the totalstore, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guestand improve their experience.\n\nReceive deliveriesusing the receive applicationand process all inbound store transfersto ensure inventory accuracy.\n\nResponsible for ensuring Direct to Store Deliveries (DSD) and Advance Direct to Store Deliveries (ADSD) are accurately received following the outlined processes.\n\nFollow up daily to ensure all unacknowledged deliveries have been received.\n\nAccurately handle all freight shipments related paperwork; make shipping arrangements when necessary.\n\nExecute donations, Central Return Center (CRC), electronics recycling, transfer orders (store to store and sweeps), salvage and inventory removals (IRs) are in compliance withall DOT regulations and best methods.\n\nIdentifyand handle environmentally sensitive item management (ESIM) in the reverse logisticsarea in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.\n\nComplete the ESIM weekly log.\n\nProcess vendor credits and damaged/defective items accurately and in a timely mannerto minimize shortage and compliance risk; handle merchandise returns according to company and vendor guidelines.\n\nResponsible for maintainingall invoices and documentation per record retention guidelines pertaining todeliveries, ESIM waste pickups and all outbound shipments.\n\nOperate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.\n\nDemonstrate a culture of ethicalconduct, safetyand compliance.\n\nWork in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.\n\nSupport guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Driveup (DU)and maintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beveragelaws.\n\nCreate a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.\n\nWhen guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.\n\nThank guestsand let them know we’rehappy they chose to shop at Target.\n\nAll other duties based on business needs\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nThis may be the right job for you if:\nYou enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shopour store and fellow team members you work with.\n\nYou thrive in a fast-moving, highly activeand physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.\n\nYou are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, daysor shifts (including nights, weekends, holidaysand other peak shopping times).\n\nThe good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Reverse Logistics Expert.
