The engineer will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business partners to build scalable solutions, improve platform capabilities, and support the evolution of the architecture while maintaining operational excellence.\n\nSenior Engineer Expectations:\nDesign, develop, and support scalable full-stack applications and services across the Safe & Secure platform.\nContribute to system design and architectural discussions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.\nBuild and maintain APIs, integrations, and event-driven services that enable seamless connectivity across enterprise platforms.\nApply modern engineering practices including API-first design, observability, resiliency, and automated testing.\nCollaborate with product, security, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.\nSupport platform modernization efforts by identifying and implementing technical improvements and simplification opportunities.\nContribute to GenAI-enabled capabilities through integration with data, services, and emerging AI technologies where applicable.\nEnsure systems meet reliability, performance, and security expectations, especially for business-critical workflows.\nTroubleshoot production issues, participate in operational support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nMentor and support other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.\nStay current with emerging technologies, engineering practices, and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.\n\nAbout You:\n4-year degree or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of software development experience with experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.\nStrong experience in Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Golang, Kafka, REST/GraphQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).\nExperience building scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.\nStrong understanding of integration patterns including APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.\nExperience working with cloud-native applications, observability, and operational excellence practices.\nExposure to GenAI/ML ecosystems, Python, LLM integrations, or data engineering concepts is a plus.\nDemonstrates strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nExperience participating in technical design discussions and delivering solutions from concept through production.\nProven ability to mentor peers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.\nPassion for learning and applying new technologies to solve business
