The role of a Style Consultant can provide you with theskills and experiencesof:\nOurguestservice fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store\n\nRetail business fundamentalsincludingdepartment sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies and basic visual merchandising\n\nIndustry trends includingstyle, seasonality,and brand differentiation\n\nSet, fill, and price the floor according to what is most important to the guest\n\nAs a Style Consultant, no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day will most likelyincludethe following responsibilities:\nDrive sales and deliver a guest ready floorpadby executing visual standards, inspirational & promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assistthe guest as needed.\n\nLeverage store tools to understand sales,inventory ownership, & use to solve & support guest needs.\n\nSort truck freight, push freightto the salesfloor, and locatemerchandise in the backroom based on business needs.\n\nSet visual presentations& visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.\n\nMaintain product availability and a full floorpadby executing priority fills, manual fills, & merchandising to capacity to create a guest ready floorpad.\n\nExecute & maintainbackroom organization, inclusive of locatingmerchandise to support replenishment, fulfillment, & guest requests.\n\nRemerchandise presentations as they sell through using remerchandising best practices to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for our guest.\n\nSupport price change processes by executing clearance merchandising best practices, inclusive of signing execution.\n\nMaintain and use the fitting rooms as an opportunity to welcome, inspire, and help guests.\n\nSupport fulfillment and guest’s needs by ensuring merchandisefrom the fitting roomand guest service are worked back out to the salesfloor throughout the day.\n\nAlways demonstratea culture of ethical conduct, safetyand compliance.\n\nWork in a safe manner at all times;comply withall safety policies, best practices,and training; report hazards and correct where possible.\n\nSupport guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beveragelaws.\n\nCreate a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.\n\nWhen guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.\n\nThank guestsand let them know we’rehappy they chose to shop at Target.\n\nAll other duties based on business needs\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nThis maybe the right job for you if:\nYou enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shopour store and fellow team members you work with.\n\nYou thrive in a fast-moving, highly activeand physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.\n\nYou are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, daysor shifts (including nights, weekends, holidaysand other peak shopping times).\n\nThe good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a style consultant.
