Installer- Artificial Turf
The Synthetic Turf Field Installer is responsible for performing a variety of physical labor tasks related to the installation of synthetic turf fields under the direction of a Site Superintendent/Foreman. This role involves hands-on work, precision cutting, and attention to detail, and requires regular overnight travel to job sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in field setup upon arrival at the job site
- Accurately handle and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings
- Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation
- Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives
- Install field markings and logos by embedding them into hot glue
- Inspect turf seams to ensure high-quality bonding and alignment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project
- Support the final job site walk-through to ensure installation quality
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager
- Overnight travel 75% of the year.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Follow all company safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor or Human Resources
- Collaborate with team members to support overall project goals
- Participate in cross-functional duties and provide support to colleagues when needed
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in construction or field installation is preferred but not required
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Clean criminal background required
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to travel frequently
