Production Operator
POSITION TITLE:Production Team Member
LOCATION:Florence, Alabama
STARTING PAY: $15.47/hr (+ incentives)
POSITIONSUMMARY:
Tarkett is seeking a new Production Team Member to join their manufacturing team in Florence, Alabama. Promoting asafetyculture and utilizing WCM tools andmethodology, in this position you will work with others to deliver a quality product on time toTarkett’scustomers.
ESSESNTIAL DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate equipment and machines that support production
Maintain and support 5S initiatives throughout the facility
Drive a safety culture by adhering to all safety rules, supporting safety initiatives, and communicating opportunities for improvement through near misses, and Kaizen
Maintain cleanliness of operations,equipmentand facility
Operate forklift
Correctly move and label material/product throughout the process
Ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer by inspecting product throughout the process
Package and label material/product accurately
Perform repetitive tasks
Notify supervisor of defective material, equipment, or tools that hinder the process
Participate in projects and work with others to provide solutions to opportunities and drive improvement andefficient
REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)
Understand the importance of working safely
Pass a fit-to-work physical, drug screen, and background check
Able to stand forlong periodsof time
Able to work in a non-temperature controlledenvironment
Have a high school diploma or GED
Able to work a flexible work schedule
Have a strong attention to detail

Must be able tolift upto 50 lbs.frequently
Must be able to make repetitive motions involving twisting and turning.
