This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient and effective management of departmental operations, resources, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating operational activities, supporting financial and operational planning, monitoring service, analyzing data, facilitating process improvements, and assisting with the implementation of department goals and projects. This position serves as a liaison between Campus Operations units and university departments, helping to foster collaboration, improve efficiency, and support exceptional customer service. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nThis position is primarily performed on-site at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Regular physical presence on campus is required to support Campus Operations initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and coordinate departmental activities. Limited flexibility for remote work may be considered in accordance with university policy and operational needs.\nWork hours are Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pmn and may vary depending on departmental operational needs and university events. The position may require occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work to support Campus Operations activities, projects, emergencies, and special events.\nResponsibilities:\nProvides operational support to Campus Operations by coordinating meetings, preparing reports, managing communications, and tracking initiatives and follow-up actions.\nServes as a liaison between Campus Operations, university departments, vendors, and stakeholders to promote collaboration, communication, and effective service delivery. \nCoordinates operational activities across Campus Operations units to ensure alignment with departmental goals, university policies, and service expectations.\nAssists with implementing divisional priorities and strategic initiatives while monitoring progress toward operational and organizational objectives. \nTracks, analyzes, and reports operational data, metrics, and performance indicators to support decision-making, planning, and continuous improvement efforts. \nSupports financial and operational planning activities, including budget development, expenditure monitoring, forecasting, resource allocation, and performance tracking. \nIdentifies operational challenges and assists with developing, implementing, and documenting solutions, procedures, workflows, and best practices that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance. \nAssists with vendor and contract management activities, including monitoring service performance, reviewing agreements, ensuring compliance, and supporting contract administration. \nCoordinates and supports multiple projects and initiatives, including planning, implementation, progress tracking, stakeholder communication, and achievement of project objectives and deliverables.\nSupports auxiliary and campus operations, recruitment and onboarding efforts, employee training, records management, compliance activities, and other responsibilities as assigned while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. \nServes as a representative of Campus Operations and contributes positively to the mission of Tarleton State University and The Texas A&M University System. \nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience\nThree years of related experience.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to work with people at all levels of an organization, manage multiple projects and priorities with deadlines, respond quickly to changing situations, and work well under pressure while maintaining individual and team effectiveness.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and foster a teamwork atmosphere.\nExceptional problem-solving and time management skills.\nCapability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to effectively guide, lead, and develop technical employees promoting team relationship skills and communication.\nAbility to be an accountable, responsible, and dependable member of the Campus Operations team.\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary: Commensurate with experience\nSalary Range:\nThe target base annual salary range is $47,000 up to $51,700 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.\nWe are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time and qualifying part-time employees.
