Coordinates and makes special arrangements for various high-level special events. Assist with all phases of event development, including event planning and event team coordination, and assist with providing deliverables to help drive projects to a successful completion.\nWork hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate. Primary location will be on-site at Tarleton State University's Stephenville campus. Travel required to multiple work site locations.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinates and markets large events and conferences.\n\nSchedules and processes event requests developing service requirements and arranging logistics.\n\nPrepares correspondence, reports, purchase orders, and invoices related to special events.\n\nProvides on-site customer liaison during events.\n\nCoordinates post-event review and follow-up contact.\n\nParticipates in the supervision of ambassador student organization.\n\nAssists with researching and cultivating networking opportunities.\n\nActs as representative of Campus Operations and as valued member of Tarleton State as part of The Texas A&M system and performs other duties as assigned, including serving satellite campuses.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nThree years of related experience.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nExceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.\n\nCapability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.\n\nAbility to multitask and work cooperatively with others.\n\nStrong organizational skills.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\n\nKnowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.\n\nAbility to be accountable, responsible, and dependable member of the Campus Operations team.\n\nAbility to work flexible hours and extended schedule to support events and duties that take place outside the normal operating hours.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary: Commensurate with experience\nSalary Range:\nThe target base annual salary range is $41,000 up to $45,100 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.\nWe are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time and qualifying part-time employees.
