You will design, implement, and maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network for our offices around the world. You should be ready to contribute to improvements and design. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network and VoIP equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.\nMission\nTo design, build, and maintain the company network to ensure it always stays up and running, can scale, and can handle the unexpected.\nSuccessful Outcomes\nThe network has a high agreed upon SLA uptime\n\nThe network has proper redundancy in placed in case of failure\n\nThe network must continue to meet the demands of business as it grows\n\nThe network team, as a whole, knows how to properly handle and resolve network related incidents\n\nWhat you’ll accomplish:\nDesign, administer, maintain and support the availability, performance and security of the network systems that include, SDWAN (Aruba Silverpeak), Cloud Networking (AWS), Routers (Ubiquiti Edge Routers), wireless networking(Unifi), Firewalls, Switches (Cisco), Load Balancers, VPN, QoS, MPLS, SBCs, PBX platforms (Asterisk), Circuits and servers evidencing strong knowledge of security, switching, and routing technologies\n\nMonitor network performance (availability, reliability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses\n\nMonitor and identify capacity, quality, and performance issues for VoIP traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telephony systems\n\nPerform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and hotfixes\n\nProvide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues reported by end user\n\nPerform analysis of maintenance failures, research trends, causes of failures, and recommend solutions to avert future failures\n\nPerform, and troubleshoot, on all voice services for all LAN and WAN hardware modules\n\nLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution\n\nFully support, configure, maintain and upgrade in house networks and servers\n\nDefine network policies and procedures\n\nGather, compile, and maintain enterprise level VoIP network diagrams\n\nResearch and make recommendations on server system administration\n\nAbout you:\n4+ years of proven hands-on experience in a network administrator role\n\nHands on experience in networking, SDWAN, routing, switching, VoIP, wireless\n\nHands on experience configuring Ubiquiti routers using CLI\n\nDeep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, route redistribution, Spanning Tree)\n\nKnowledge on Cisco, ASA, Dynamic Routing, OSPF, Proxy Servers, Web Filtering and Networking (LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, MPLS)\n\nSolid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model\n\nHands-on working knowledge of carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure, specifically: hosted PBXs platforms (Asterisk), endpoint devices (Polycom, Cisco SPA)\n\nHands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools\n\nExcellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure\n\nExperience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution\n\nAbility to setup and configure server hardware and deployments in on-prem data centers\n\nAbility to configure network infrastructure with IaC such as Terraform\n\nMaintain version control of configurations using Github\n\nExperience in network setup in cloud environments such as AWS (Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering)\n\nAble to understand and analyze WireShark results to solve complex SIP VoIP and IP internetworking challenges\n\nGreat at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking\n\nSelf-learner, independent, and have outstanding problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nBS in Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field\n\nMust be able to work night shift and be flexible to work off hours and weekends if required\n\nNetwork stack: Ubiquiti routers, Cisco switch, Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure or GCP), IaC (e.g. Terraform), OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPLC, Metro Ethernet, IPSec, SDWAN, point to point VPN, OpenVPN, Wireguard, Bind9, Asterisk, DNS,\nWonders is committed to hiring the best team to empower small businesses to thrive.
