This role requires a highly organized, skilled, and proactive professional who can lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the industrial services sector, a deep understanding of project management principles, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest safety standards.\nProject Manager Job Duties:\nDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients. \nDevelop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates. \nIdentify and mitigate potential risks and challenges proactively. \nLead and motivate project teams, including field personnel and sub-contractors. \nMonitor project progress, performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with the project plan. \nManage project from an onsite billable role, reporting daily activities and timelines to client, tracking expenditures, and reporting on financial performance to regional management. \nOversee all aspects of project execution, from initial mobilization to final completion. \nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status. \nEffectively communicate project details, changes, and potential issues to all stakeholders. \nBuild and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction. \nChampion a culture of safety, ensuring all project activities are performed in strict adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations. \nConduct regular site inspections and safety meetings. \nEnsure all necessary permits, certifications, and documentation are in place. \nCoordinate with internal departments to secure necessary resources, equipment, and materials. \nManage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring. \nFacilitate project closeout activities, including final reporting, documentation, and client sign-off. \nConduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future project delivery. \nPerform other related duties as assigned. \nRequirements\nCompetencies:\nAdaptability & Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and unexpected situations. \nBusiness Acumen: Ability to understand and apply business principles in a strategic and effecitve manner. \nProblem Solving: Ability to identif, analyze, and resolve challenges effectively. \nExecution: Ability to translate plans and strategies into tangible results, getting things done effectively and efficiently. \nPeople Management: Ability to effectively manage employees, creating a positive work environment, fostering collaboration, and maximizing employee productivity. \nNeeds Analysis: Ability to systematically and objectively assess a situation to identify gaps, requirements, and areas of opportunity. \nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED required. \n7+ years’ of experience in industrial services or a similar industry. \n3+ years’ of experience managing projects and/or teams. \nOSHA 30-Hour and Hazwoper 40-Hour preferred. \nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear \nThis position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times \nThe employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds \nMust be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders \nMay occasionally deal with heights \nAbility to wear Personal Equipment, including Respiratory Protection \nConsists of both office setting and physical jobsite \nAble to work in confined spaces when needed \nEEO/AA Employer/Veteran/Disabled Statement:\nTAS Environmental Services, LP provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.\nTAS Environmental Services, LP is recognized as a leading regional provider of Environmental Services.
