Join our team today and experience firsthand our dedication to supporting People First.\nTop 3 Core Focus Areas\nTrust & Safety / BPO Operations: Experience handling content review, policy enforcement, or fast-paced decision operations in structured, metrics-driven environments.\nDeep Cyber Knowledge: Strong technical foundation to interpret offensive and defensive techniques, paired with code literacy across multiple programming languages.\nSound Analytical Judgment: Strong logical reasoning to evaluate context, handle edge cases, and deliver clear, defensible decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nIndependently review multi-turn user-model conversations using the applicable cyber safety taxonomy, policy guidance, and SOPs.\nInterpret technical cyber content-including phishing, vulnerability exploitation, malware, reconnaissance, credential theft, evasion, and dual-use security activity-together with intent and contextual signals.\nMake clear, defensible decisions and record concise rationales, accurate metadata, and complete case notes.\nFollow operating controls, checklists, and data-handling requirements; use existing guidance to resolve clear cases and escalate genuine policy gaps with structured context.\nOwn assigned work from intake through documentation while meeting accuracy, throughput, and turnaround expectations.\nParticipate in calibration and quality review, incorporating feedback consistently.\nSurface and/or analyze recurring patterns, edge cases, and workflow changes that affect execution.\n Required Qualifications\nExperience in trust and safety operations, content review, BPO environments, or another high-volume decision operation using detailed SOPs or playbooks.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze offensive and defensive security techniques and distinguish benign, dual-use, suspicious, and malicious activity.\nExperience working independently in a metrics-driven environment where accuracy, traceability, and compliance matter.\nStrong logical reasoning, attention to detail, and written communication, with the ability to reach and explain defensible conclusions.\nAgility in fast-changing environments and the ability to apply new guidance consistently.\nProficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, C/C++, Java).\nFamiliarity with common security tools and frameworks, including Nmap, Nessus, sqlmap, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, penetration-testing suites, and red-team utilities.\nPractical experience with system administration (Linux, Windows, or containerized environments) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Cloudflare).\nPreferred Qualifications (Pluses)\n 3+ years of applied cybersecurity experience in areas such as security operations (SOC), incident response, threat intelligence, penetration testing, vulnerability management, malware analysis, red teaming, application security, or a closely related field.\n Industry Certifications:CompTIA Security+ (Sec+)\nCompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)\nCertified Ethical Hacker (CEH)\nOSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)\nPNPT (Practical Network Penetration Tester)\nCRTO (Certified Red Team Operator)\neJPT (eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester)\nHTB CPTS (Hack The Box Certified Penetration Testing Specialist)\nAdvanced certifications (e.g., GIAC, CISSP, OSEP, CRT)\n\nExperience participating in calibrations, performing root-cause analysis, identifying process defects, or improving operational quality.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nProduces accurate, policy-grounded decisions with concise, audit-ready documentation.\nMeets productivity and turnaround expectations while adhering to SOPs.\nHandles most work independently, escalates the right cases with useful context, and improves through calibration feedback.\nHow We Partner To Protect You: TaskUs will neither solicit money from you during your application process nor require any form of payment in order to proceed with your application.
