Our comprehensive service and support works to ensure that we can meet the needs and demands of our customers. The function of this position is to assist the Director of Engineering in the development and implementation of repair schemes and processes using reverse engineered data for customer and FAA-DER approval. The following is a list of job duties that the Product Support Engineer will perform:\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProviding technical support to shop with part/component overhaul.\nDesigning and developing repair schemes and repair processes for customer and FAA-DER approval.\nDevelopment and implementation of CAD data to support repair development.\nCoordinating with the machine shop for prototype development.\nCoordinating incorporation of newly designed repairs into shop procedures (travelers).\nCoordinating with current vendors to support repair development.\nCoordinating with machine shop, quality and purchasing on inducting new part/component orders. \nPreparing and maintaining part/component travelers, process flow charts and reports.\nRequirements\n BS, Mechanical Engineering a must. \n Strong understanding of materials, engineering principles, production methods, and quality standards.\n Working Knowledge of SolidWorks.\n Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack up analysis, and design for manufacturability. \n Understands use of inspection and measuring equipment.\n Proficient in Microsoft Office.\n Excellent analytical skills and project management skills.\n Excellent oral & written communication skills, including technical writing ability.\n Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.\n Benefits\nTAT Technologies is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
