The organization continues to invest in engineering excellence, technology advancement, process innovation, and new product development to support evolving commercial, defense, and OEM customer requirements.\nWe are seeking a Project Manager to support the execution of engineering and product development initiatives within TAT's FutureWorks Lab. This role will lead cross-functional projects related to thermal management technologies, product development, testing, validation, and customer-driven engineering programs. The Project Manager will coordinate activities across engineering, laboratory, operations, quality, and customer teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. Success in this role requires strong planning, organization, and communication skills, along with the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced aerospace engineering environment.\nMain Responsibilities\nLead cross-functional engineering projects related to thermal management products, technologies, and customer-driven development programs. \nManage project schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. \nCoordinate activities across engineering, laboratory, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams. \nDrive product development efforts from concept through design, testing, validation, certification, and production release. \nSupport the planning and execution of laboratory testing, qualification programs, and performance validation activities. \nTrack project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership. \nFacilitate technical reviews, design reviews, and project gate reviews throughout the product lifecycle. \nWork closely with engineering teams to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and resource needs. \nIdentify project risks and develop mitigation plans to maintain program objectives and schedules. \nEnsure customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards are incorporated into project plans. \nCoordinate prototype builds, product evaluations, and engineering change activities. \nSupport new technology development initiatives aimed at enhancing thermal performance, product reliability, and manufacturability. \nCollaborate with customers and internal teams to translate technical requirements into actionable project plans. \nMonitor project performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the R&D organization. \nMaintain project documentation, schedules, action-item tracking, and communication plans. \nAssist with prioritization of multiple concurrent projects within the R&D portfolio. \nFacilitate communication between U.S. and international engineering teams as required. \nSupport strategic initiatives that advance TAT's thermal management and heat transfer technology capabilities. \nEnsure projects are executed in compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.\nU.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.\n5+ years of project management experience in engineering, product development, R&D, aerospace, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional technical projects from concept through implementation.\nExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including schedules, budgets, resources, and priorities.\nStrong understanding of product development processes, engineering change management, and project lifecycle methodologies.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, test data, and design documentation.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nOther Requirements / Preferred Qualifications\nPMP, CAPM, or other project management certification/training.\nExperience working with engineering, laboratory, quality, operations, and customer-facing teams.\nProven ability to identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams.\nExperience working in a matrixed and/or international organization.\nFamiliarity with aerospace industry standards, FAA regulations, certification processes, and quality systems.\nExperience supporting thermal management, heat transfer, aerospace components, environmental control systems, or related technologies.\nExperience coordinating laboratory testing, product validation, qualification programs, or new product introduction (NPI) activities.\nBenefits\nTAT Technologies is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
